The Abbott Ladies Prepare

The Abbott ladies got ready for the wedding in the living room, with everyone dressed in their best Roaring 20s attire. Abby broke the news that Devon wouldn't be attending because he had to watch Dominic. Abby could tell that something was bothering Ashley, so she asked what was wrong.

Just like the night before, Ashley admitted that things didn't feel completely right. She had nothing against Sally, but still worried that Billy and the family had been through so much. Abby and Traci assured Ashley that Sally made Billy happy. She still worried that something would go wrong.

Ashley couldn't get Sally's past off her mind. She was a schemer in Los Angeles, hurting her friends, the Forresters. And she was a schemer when she first arrived in Genoa City. Ashley didn't want to be the bad guy. She could just spot the red flags and felt antsy. However, she would try to put on a happy face and remain positive on this big day.

Pietro the Party Planner

As Billy scoped out the ceremony venue at the GCAC, Pietro panicked because Billy was not yet ready for the wedding. What was he waiting for? Billy wasn't worried and assured Pietro that he'd be ready with plenty of time. His suit was all ready and he just had to put it on.

Pietro was satisfied with that explanation, so he took Billy downstairs to the jazz club and showed him how the place had been transformed into a 1920s theme. When Jack and Kyle arrived, Billy was on top of the world and ready for the day and life ahead.

The Bride Is Ready

Upstairs in her suite, Sally and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day. "We've come a long way since our carny days," Sally told Coco before Audra and Chelsea presented the dress that Sally designed for herself. Sally felt like she would be the most beautiful bride in the world. She even had everything old, new, borrowed, and blue.

When Audra and Sally had a few moments alone together, Sally thanked her friend for everything she'd done for her to make this day so special.

"Chelsea and Coco, they've been amazing, but you are the one who responds at 2 in the morning when I ask you a ridiculous question about my shoes...I never had a best friend before and sometimes, honestly, I don't know what to do with that," Sally cried.

When Billy showed up at the door, Sally hid in the bathroom so as not to see the groom on the wedding day. Billy gave Audra a note for his future wife and said she was not to read it until she was ready to head down to the ceremony. Audra was a little worried that the note would make Sally cry and ruin her makeup, so they hesitantly handed it to her.

Before Sally could read the note, Katie stopped in to welcome her future stepmother to the family. After everyone left, Sally was alone for a moment; she read Billy's note, held back the tears, and smiled.

Downstairs, the guests assembled and took their seats as the ceremony began. After the bridesmaids walked down the aisle, a spotlight shone at the back of the room before a curtain was drawn to reveal the bride.

Chaos at the Ranch

While a beautiful wedding was about to take place in town, there was an ocean full of problems at Sharon's little cottage out at the ranch. Nick spent the night, and apparently, so did Matt. When Nick and Sharon descended the stairs, they saw that Matt is still asleep on the couch and are not quite sure what to do about that.

Sharon had already called the mental health clinic to try to secure him a spot and Nick said he'd make sure that was Matt's next stop. However, they needed to see which version of Matt was with them at the moment. They knew he was at war with the two different parts of himself, but the bad part was there, so they had to worry.

When Matt woke, he was the affable version. He kindly apologized to Sharon for scaring her and causing her so much drama. He had truly wanted to die, but Sharon was the one who gave him something to hold onto and made him feel there was hope for him.

Matt agreed that he needed mental health help, but he wanted Sharon to be the one who helped. He elected her as his therapist, but Nick scoffed at the idea. After all, he had raped her. Maybe she was not the best person for the job. Matt insisted that Sharon knew what she was doing.

As Nick grew irate and reminded Matt of all he had done to them over the years, Sharon tried to calm things down. She had arranged for him to go to a mental health facility. Once he was situated, they could discuss the possibility of her being his therapist.

Matt insisted he would only go if Sharon was the one to help him. When Sharon and Nick were alone to talk this through, he warned her against this crazy idea. Sharon thought this could be the answer they were looking for. Maybe she could be the one to heal Matt and bring them all the peace they had craved for years.

When Matt returned, Sharon told him she would be his therapist, but there was no guarantee she could help. If she couldn't, he'd need to find another therapist. Matt could live with that and agreed to those terms. "If you're willing to give this a try, then so am I," he said.

Is Sharon making a big mistake by agreeing to help Matt? Do you expect something to go wrong at the wedding? Sound off in the comments.
