A worried Chelsea stopped by the ranch house looking for Adam, but Nick hadn't seen him. Chelsea sat down to stay for tea and discuss the events at the wedding. They had a good laugh when they got to the part about Adam delivering the baby. What a perfect ending to an eventful day.

The small talk continued as Chelsea told Nick how well Connor was doing at school. She just wished she could find Adam and tell him. "I got a call from Connor this morning. He made the honor roll. Adam's going to be so thrilled," she said.

Nick was happy that all the kids were doing well and wished he saw his more. He had considered going with Victoria to London so he could see Noah, but there were too many things keeping him in Genoa City at the moment. Nick knew his powerhouse sister had to be "scoring big" in London. (Nick had no idea just how much.)

Chelsea said she was impressed with how Nick seemed like his old self again. Nick admitted that he was getting back into the groove of real life, but didn't feel that he deserved the grace and second chance he had been given. Nick then questioned Chelsea about her own feelings about the wedding.

Chelsea said she was happy and just relieved that it was all over. She insisted multiple times that Adam would never keep any of his feelings from her, but Nick seemed concerned. Chelsea was not worried. Sally and Billy have been cordial and everyone just wanted to move on.

Adam and Sally's Moment of Truth

When Sally took the baby on an outing in Chancellor Park, she ran into Adam at the cafe. He gushed over Ruby and admitted that he felt protective of her since he had delivered her. He even worried that she shouldn't be outside yet. Sally said she checked with the doctor and it was perfectly fine.

Sally informed Adam that he was welcome to see the baby any time he wanted. That put a smile on Adam's face because he felt she was absolutely perfect. Sally got serious and asked Adam how he was doing. After all, the night before had to have been emotional for him too.

Adam had to confess that some unexpected feelings had surfaced and dealing with the aftermath of the birth was more difficult than he realized it would be.

"I felt some things that I haven't felt in a while. Some emotions I thought I had dealt with...they hit me harder than I thought they would," Adam admitted.

Sally completely understood and admitted she'd had the same feelings. Ruby's birth was indeed a joyous occasion, but how could they not think of Ava?

Sally was happy to have her second chance at being a girl mom and hoped that Adam could also find the peace he deserved. Sally believed that Ava was watching out for them.

"I really, really hope that with what you did, you can find some peace for yourself too," Sally said. "I really think Ava was there helping us, looking out of her parents from heaven."

Sally even thought that Ruby's birth could lead to Adam and Billy becoming friends. Adam had to laugh at that idea and didn't see how that could ever happen.

When Adam heard that Billy was in London, he told Sally he never would have left her and the baby. Sally said she had told Billy to go. His mother was having heart surgery after all. Adam still insisted that he would not have gone.

After Sally left, Adam flashed back to that awful moment when he had to tell Sally that Ava had died. Chelsea's presence brought him out of it. She knew he wasn't okay, but Adam insisted that everything was fine.

Things got dicey in the Newman London apartment. When Kyle looked through the peephole and spotted Billy in the hall with Victoria, he found his pants and hightailed it on the terrace. Billy asked Victoria if she planned to invite him in, but she quickly asked how Jill was. Billy was firmly distracted now and gave her an update on his mother's condition.

They finally went inside, but Kyle was firmly out on the balcony and freezing. Billy wondered why she had all those candles lit. Victoria said she had brought them for the ambiance while she worked. Billy noted that the place hadn't changed since they'd been married. They then made some small talk about the kids. Eventually, they'd have to tell them what was going on with Jill.

When Billy looked at the window and commented on the view, Victoria stopped him in his tracks. She was very busy and needed him to go. After all, she was here on business and she really had to get back to work. Billy thanked her for being a good listener and finally left.

Once Billy was gone, Victoria grabbed a half-naked Kyle and got him inside. She did her best to warm him up in a way Kyle would enjoy. They began kissing again, but were happy that they were at least alone.

As for Billy, he returned to the pub where he had met with Cane. He pulled out his phone to call Sally. She asked how Jill was doing, so he told her that she was doing better and he hoped to head home in a few days. He just wanted to be there with her and the baby. So, Sally put the phone on speaker and Billy sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to his little girl.

Are Victoria and Kyle playing with fire? Are Adam and Sally spending too much time together? Sound off in the comments.
