On the Wednesday, October 28, 2026, episode of The Young and the Restless, Sally visited with the Abbotts, Phyllis threw her clout around, Claire made threats, and Billy made a discovery.
Mommy and Me

Sally's tour with baby Rub continued as Sally hit the Abbott mansion first to visit with Billy's family. Jack, Traci, and Diane all gushed over the baby, with Jack telling her that the family home was her legacy. When they asked how Sally was holding up, she admitted that all she did was stare at the baby in disbelief.
Diane and Traci said that Ruby would have Billy wrapped around her little finger. Sally was amazed to be surrounded by so much love and told the ladies how grateful she was to have them in her life. Traci said she was family now, as were Coco and Shirley. Sally was grateful that the women would be there for her whenever she needed them.
Over dinner, they made more small talk until the topic of Jill came up. Sally wanted to be there for Billy, but under the circumstances they needed to be apart for now. They all also worried about the animosity between Jill and Billy. Maybe this would be the wake-up call Billy needed to realize he has to put aside his differences with his mother.
Claire Surfaces at Society

Claire and Audra made some small talk when they ran into one another at Society. However, the friendly banter soon turned serious when Claire accused Audra of extorting her mother regarding the Vibrante patents. Audra said it was just business before growing catty.
Audra asked Claire what she did to drive Holden away. Claire wondered why Audra was always so concerned with the men in her life. How was it any of her concern? Audra thought that Holden was just using bonding with Malcolm as an excuse to stay away from Genoa City.
Claire insisted that she and Holden were still together. Audra decided that "crazy Claire" had to be back. Why was Claire getting so defensive with her? Things devolved from there as Claire was ready to ruin Audra's life if she didn't leave her alone. Claire reminded Audra that she could expose her.
Phyllis vs. Victor

At the GCAC, Phyllis met with Nick and Victor and said her peace. She told The Mustache that she knew he played by his own set of rules, but she did the same. Arabesque was going to be a top corporation and she knew she would one day go head to head with Newman Enterprises sooner rather than later.
Victor didn't think he had anything to worry about. Fancy logos weren't going to find her success. Nick finally chimed in and asked why his ex-wife was making the mistake of coming after their company when it has never worked before. Victor was sure he knew what Phyllis was up to, but she wasn't about to say.
Phyllis couldn't help herself and had to tell them that Arabesque would focus on hospitality and real estate businesses. She has her eyes on another hotel, as hotels seem to be Phyllis' thing. (Remember the Grand Phoenix?) Victor suddenly had to take a call, leaving Phyllis and Nick alone.
Phyllis was frustrated with how judgemental Nick was being. Nick just wanted Phyllis to spend some time living in the real world. Phyllis was setting herself up to fail. She should know it's a fool's errand to go up against Newman Enterprises. Phyllis didn't care. At this point in her life, she was going to go big or go home.
Nick didn't know why Phyllis couldn't take her personal wins. Daniel was talking to her again and Matt was not. That should be good enough. Nick should have known not to bring up Matt because Phyllis was triggered. Nick told her that Matt had checked himself into a mental health facility, but he didn't want to see anyone. Although Phyllis wanted updates, Nick reminded Phyllis that there was nothing she could do for him. He wanted her to focus on her own life.
After Nick walked away, Daniel arrived. He immediately wanted to know what her latest crisis was, frustrating Phyllis. She was sick of everyone not believing in her. The Newmans had to be nervous or they wouldn't be trying to discourage her so much.
Back at the ranch, Victor expressed his concern about Phyllis. He told Nick that she could end up doing something he may not be able to forgive.
Everyone in London

At the apartment in London, Kyle was restless and couldn't sleep. He wanted to go out, but he and Victoria remembered that Billy nearly caught them earlier. They couldn't take the risk. So, they had sex again. Afterwards, Victoria needed to sleep, so Kyle took that walk he had wanted.
At the pub we had seen for the last two days, Cane found Kyle and wondered what he was doing there. Kyle said he was on his way to Paris on business, but had stopped to see a friend first. They made some small talk until the topic of Jill came up. Both men knew how difficult this was on Billy. After all, he had to leave his new wife and baby because his mother had had a near-fatal heart attack.
Cane got serious and maybe even a little sarcastic when he said that Billy might be afraid for Jill to recover because then they would both have to face their pasts and the problems in their relationship. Kyle could somewhat relate because he had made peace with Diane's death as a child. Then, suddenly, as an adult, he had his mother back. It was a rough road, but now Kyle couldn't imagine life without his mother.
Cane was reminded of how he had made amends with Colin before he had died. Illness could make you do that and force you to grapple with some things. Just as the two men toasted to Billy and Jill finally finding some peace, Billy walked in. He was surprised to see Kyle, of all people and wondered why he was there.
Will Billy put two and two together and get Victoria? Is Phyllis acting ridiculous? Sound off in the comments.
