Victoria and Kyle have been treating their affair almost like a game on The Young and the Restless. She addressed the duo's future on the episode that aired on Friday, October 30. Also, Sharon and Phyllis got on the same page, while Abby figured out that Stephanie and Nate are more than just friends, and Nick gave advice to Adam.
The Ex-Husband's Club
Kyle brought coffee and pastries to Victoria at the Newman apartment in London. Vicki said that Kyle was right about how they'd be tempting fate if they went to Paris together, as much as she'd like to be there with him. Then, Billy knocked on the door.
Kyle took the coffee and exited the room while Vicki answered the door. She told Billy that she had a few minutes before her meeting. Billy asked to come in. He wanted to share good news about Jill.
Vicki wondered why Billy didn't call before coming by. He apologized, but he was happy that Jill was going to be okay, noting that she had a long recovery ahead. Vicki said that Jill loved Billy and that it must have been comforting to see his face.
Billy said that Jill had him take about 10 photos to send to the kids. Vicki said seeing the pictures will put Johnny and Katie's minds at ease. Billy said he was looking forward to going home to see his new daughter. Vicki told Billy that his being there for Jill was the right thing to do. Billy said there were still problems, but he had a lot of love for his mother. "Jill's going to be okay," Vicki said, pointing out that she had a new granddaughter to spoil. Billy thanked Vicki for her time. She was glad that he trusted her. Billy asked when his ex was headed back home.
Vicki walked Billy to the door. He asked his ex if she knew that Kyle was in London. Billy said that Kyle was there for Victoria. Billy asked if Vicki's meeting was about Vibrante. He wondered if Kyle was in town because of Victoria's meeting. She assured him that her meeting had nothing to do with Vibrante. Vicki told Billy that he was wrong. After Billy left, Kyle came out of the bedroom.
Vicki said that Jill was doing better, but that Billy wondered if Kyle being in London had something to do with Vicki's business. Kyle wondered if Billy was connecting dots that were better off not connected.
Vicki said that she and Kyle were supposed to be having fun, but Billy and Cane being in London has added stress to their lives. Vicki wondered what would happen if her family found out about her and Kyle. He said he didn't want that either. The two embraced. Victoria asked Kyle if he thought it was time that they should end their affair.
The Ex-Wives Club
At Crimson Light, Phyllis asked Nick and Sharon about Matt Clark. They each gave different answers. Phyllis pushed for an update. Nick advised Phyllis to let it go. Sharon said that Nick wouldn't reveal where Matt was. Then, Nick left. Sharon and Phyllis put their heads together about what Nick might be hiding. Sharon hoped that she and Phyllis could get Nick to tell the truth. Phyllis said it might be time to move on.
Sharon told Phyllis that Matt snuck into the trunk of her car and onto the Newman ranch. Phyllis thought that was horrible. Sharon recounted Matt breaking down and begging for help. Sharon said that Matt wanted her to be his therapist. She added that Nick didn't like that idea and he wouldn't allow it. Phyllis wondered if Nick had done something to get rid of that threat.
Sharon said that Matt never checked into the clinic. Nick claimed he checked into a clinic that was far away from Genoa City. Sharon feared that Nick's judgment was being clouded. Phyllis wondered if Matt would do something he'd regret.
Phyllis said that she and Matt were close, but that it was done now. Sharon wondered if Phyllis knew that the connection between her and Matt could be real. Phyllis said that both she and Matt walked away from their relationship. Sharon noted that Matt still cared for Phyllis.
The fiery redhead revealed she called Matt's voicemail and begged him to call her. He didn't. Phyllis pointed out that Matt had reached out to Sharon. Sharon suggested to Phyllis that Matt may have taken matters into his own hands. What would happen then?
Phyllis wondered if Nick had gotten rid of Matt. Sharon didn't think so, but she said that Nick was in a vulnerable spot in his sobriety. Phyllis said that maybe Nick did take Matt to a clinic. He was playing her, and that was on brand for Nick. Sharon said that something felt different. Sharon suggested that they both talk to Matt. Phyllis said their speaking to Nick about the drug dealer didn't go well. Sharon wondered if Phyllis wanted to know what happened to Matt.
Phyllis said she wanted Nick to be okay. She also wanted to know what happened to Matt. Phyllis admitted to being terrified that she'd get pulled back into Matt's orbit. Phyllis said that Matt didn't judge her, and she saw herself through Matt's eyes. Sharon suggested that Phyllis not be so hard on her. Sharon told Phyllis that she was sorry for her loss. Phyllis said that she was scared that Matt might have had a breakdown. She shared that she never saw the Matt whom Sharon and Nick knew. Phyllis said that she had to let go.
Sharon said that she saw how good Matt was for Phyllis. She said she had what she wanted with Daniel by her side, and maybe Summer would talk to her one day. Phyllis said that she saw that Matt wanted to be a better person, and maybe she'd be a better person, too. She wondered if that was crazy. Phyllis said that they had to talk to Nick and that they deserved answers.
The Nick of Time
Nick joined Adam at the bar at the GCAC. Nick confirmed to Adam that Matt was where he needed to be. Adam said that he hoped the gut rots. Nick asked Adam if he was okay. Adam wondered if Nick had the time to talk.
Adam said that he was thinking about Sally and Ruby. Adam said that he felt a connection and a need to protect Ruby. Nick understood the connection, but he said that Sally and Billy were going to make sure that the baby was in good hands. Adam wasn't sure. He shared that Billy took off to London. "What kind of father does that?" Adam asked Nick.
Nick pointed out to Adam that Billy left town to visit his mother, Jill, who could be dying. Adam said he had a potential problem with Billy leaving his wife and daughter, even though he was visiting his mother, who was very ill. Adam said he went to Sally's home to return something that Ruby had lost in the park. Then, Adam gave Sally a lesson in how to burp a baby.
Adam said that he and Sally were adults, and that Sally wanted Adam to be a part of Ruby's life. He noted that Billy would never let that happen. Nick urged Adam not to look for trouble. He suggested to Adam to give them space. Nick said that you need to let this go.
Coming Out Party
At Society, Nate celebrated his return to medicine with Stephanie, Devon, Lily, and Abby. He felt it was early, though, as he hadn't been cleared to perform surgery just yet. Abby said that the kitchen was preparing an amazing meal, filled with Nate's favorites. They all toasted to Nate's upcoming return to medicine (hopefully)!
Nate said that Genoa City Memorial has new equipment. Nate praised Stephanie for all her help. "I just did what was right," Stephanie said. "This man belongs in an operating room."
Nate said that he'd have to ease back into performing surgery. Then, he'll start observing and assisting. Stephanie was confident that Nate would become Genoa City's "rock star surgeon."
Later, Nate raved to Abby about the food at Society. Nate said that he loved working with Devon and Lily. Stephanie said that the possibilities for Nate were endless. She heard about his reputation. Abby pointed out that Stephanie knew Olivia. Stephanie asked about Cane. Lily said that he was in London, visiting a mother figure (Jill).
After Nate and Stephanie left, Abby asked Devon and Lily why no one had told her that Nate and Steph were together. Devon wondered if there was a conflict of interest between Nate and Stephanie, as she's his boss.
Lily said that the last update she received on Jill was that she was doing better. Lily was happy that Cane and Billy could be there. After Abby left to deal with something, Devon asked Lily if she missed Cane. Lily said that she did, but she hoped that Devon would remember that he had promised to make an effort with Cane. Devon said that he got it, and he was sorry.
Devon acknowledged that Lily missed Cane. He said life is too short to hang onto grudges, especially with someone who makes Lily happy. Lily and Devon hugged. He cautioned that Cane had better not hurt her.

Then, Lily took Cane's phone call. He told her that Jill's surgery went well, and that Snapper said it was going to be a long recovery, but that Jill was on solid ground. Cane added that he was coming home.
Lily said that if Cane felt he should stay, then he should. Cane said Jill wants everyone gone, but she said it with love. Lily said that sounded like Jill. Cane and Lily looked forward to seeing each other soon.
