On the Thursday, October 8, 2026, episode of The Young and the Restless, Billy enjoyed a roast at the Abbott mansion, while Sally enjoyed a bachelorette party at Society that came with a few surprises.

Making the Most of a Roast

When Billy arrived back at the family home for his bachelor party, he wondered about the entertainment. He then got a big surprise. It wasn't going to be a party in the traditional sense. Instead, this was a roast.

Michael was the first roaster, who put on his lawyer hat and told Billy he was foolish for not getting a pre-nup.

"With a man with a marital track record, you need a pre-nup. You have to stay married forever because I don't think I can come up with another reason to invalidate this like I did when..." he said. That's when everyone said the word "Victoria," and Kyle got a look on his face.

Cane stood up to speak next and said he thought of Billy as real family. After all, they fought like brothers and both strove for Jill's respect and approval. Cane also got on Billy's case about how many times he has been married, but admitted that he's also been down the aisle a time or two.

"I'd like to believe that you and I have more in common than we think. We have a drive to succeed, to be seen, heard and respected by one lady mogul in particular. Self-deprecating humor. Skills, sarcasm, charm," Cane said.

As they discussed multiple marriages, Kyle suggested they take a drink if they each have an ex-wife. That was...all of them. "It would be helpful to come up with a list of the women you haven't been with than the ones you have," Cane added.

Kyle, who was wearing an interesting linen suit, teased Billy for changing careers the way other people change socks and decided it was just Billy's "restless style." When there was a break in activity, Cane and Jack made some small talk. Cane said he's marry Lily again tomorrow if she'd have him. Michael and Billy also made some small talk, while Kyle snuck off to send a text to Victoria.

After the break, Jack got up to speak and regaled the story of Jaboat, which was one of Billy's more interesting adventures with Phyllis.

"Billy has taken everything we've given him tonight with a smile and I think that says a lot about his character," Jack said. "We have had our differences, little brother, but I want to say in front of everybody how incredibly proud I am today."

When the roast was over, Billy got sentimental and told the men that he couldn't wait to start his life with Sally and the baby. Jack and Billy then embraced.

Sally's Society Party

At Society, Chelsea, Abby, and Audra discussed how many guests had to cancel due to that stomach bug. But they weren't going to let that get them down. When Sally walked in, Abby handed her a mocktail, but Sally wondered if this was it. Was anyone else coming?

Oddly enough, Claire, Victoria, and Lily arrived, so Sally decided that she'd just make some new friends, even if some of them were Billy's other exes. Sally was not happy when she heard Chelsea and Audra arguing about who forgot the dessert, which did not bode well for Sally's bridesmaids.

In another part of the restaurant, Traci and Lily caught up. Traci could tell something was wrong with Lily and asked if she needed to talk. Lily admitted to Traci that she was worried that her cancer had returned, but she hadn't told Cane because she was waiting on biopsy results.

Lily was worried that telling Cane would ruin everything. "Or you could give him a chance to surprise you. He can step up. And he has been stepping up for you a lot lately," Traci pointed out. Lily admitted that he had, and Traci pointed out that Cane would want to know. "Isn't that what you need? Someone who wants to be there with you no matter what comes next," Traci added.

Soon, Sally was in for a happy surprise when her sister, Coco Spectra, arrived. Sally hadn't seen her since they both lived in Los Angeles. Sally introduced Coco, who couldn't believe how good her sister looked pregnant. She commented that she was not mom material and couldn't even take care of a plant.

Things Get Emotional

Finally, it was time for the old, new, borrowed, and blue gifts. Coco gifted her sister with Aunt Sally Spectra's giant, gaudy earrings as her something old.

Sally was touched when Audra gave her the something borrowed. It was Audra's grandmother's rosary beads. Chelsea gave Sally an old blue brooch that Jill had given her. It was originally Katherine Chancellor's.

"The old battle axe would have loved you, Sally, and be overjoyed about this baby as am I," the note read.

Sally then grew emotional. "The love and attention...Coco and I didn't always have the easiest time growing up, so the affection is just a lot in a good way. I didn't know if I was ever going to be a bride and I never expected to feel so much joy in my life. And you have all made me feel welcome here in Genoa City and made this place my home," she said, in tears.

After the gifts were given, Claire and Traci interrupted Victoria while she was texting with Kyle. At least the dessert problem was solved when Abby presented pastries sent directly from Paris. Thanks, Ashley. Audra and Chelsea even admitted that they may have screwed up dessert and stopped blaming the other.

Things got a little racy when Esther showed up with Hank, an exotic dancer. The party was about to truly get started, but then there was trouble.

Lily received a notification about her test results and ran outside to read them, with Traci following. Inside, Sally doubled over and announced she thought she was in labor.
