Labor Day?

At Society, Sally insisted that she was having contractions, but Audra was sure it had to be false labor pains. The ladies sat Sally down and started timing the contractions. They decided that Sally needed to get to the hospital right away to be safe before she had the baby in the middle of the restaurant.

While Sally had her drama inside, Lily was an emotional wreck outside. Traci was there with her as she dealt with her test results, which were inconclusive, meaning that more tests were needed. Lily hated being in limbo not knowing, so Traci said that it might be time to tell Cane what was going on.

When they went inside, they were shocked to see that Sally was in labor and realized that the party was pretty much over. Traci expressed her gratitude to Audra and told her how glad she was that Sally had someone in her life who was so good to her.

Bridesmaid Chelsea was ready to call Pietro to tell him there might be a change in wedding plans, but Claire decided they should wait to know if Sally was really in labor.

Over at the Abbott mansion, Jack was pleased with how the party went, but Billy wanted to take his own turn at roasting and did. Billy picked fun at Cane and Kyle.

After a few laughs, Billy got a call from Abby that Coco was taking Sally to the hospital because she was possibly in labor. Jack grabbed Billy's keys and ordered a car, reminding Billy that he was drunk. After Billy left, Michael and Cane were ready to drink and toast some more, but Jack wanted to be cautious in case this was false labor.

Jack even remembered the time he delivered a baby in an elevator. That baby ended up becoming his daughter-in-law decades later. Yes, that baby. Summer Newman.

False Alarm

Audra and Coco sat in the waiting room and worried about Sally. When Billy arrived, they sent him to Sally's room, where Sally was having an emotional moment. As she waited for Billy, she flashed back to losing Ava and how hard it was to say goodbye to her tiny little girl.

When Billy arrived, the doctor performed her exam and determined that this was indeed a false alarm and Sally was only feeling Braxton-Hicks contractions. After the doctor left, the couple discussed their fun parties and their upcoming wedding. When Coco paid a short visit, Billy was surprised to hear that his mother had sent a gift.

Billy was pleased to meet Coco, who was staying at the GCAC. He also called Jack and informed him that the baby wasn't coming early after all. Sally was still a bit of a wreck, as she was reminded of when she lost her last baby. She just wanted to go home and focus on the wedding.

"One thing kept playing in my mind the entire time. I can't wait to marry you," Sally said. Sally and Billy both agreed that their baby would have a flair for the dramatic. They also agreed that the wedding and the baby are proof that good things can happen.

Audra returned to Society and informed the ladies that it was just a false alarm, while Billy informed the Abbotts of the same. Victoria was so relieved that she texted Kyle to meet her, so Kyle made an excuse that he had to do something at the office.

Lily also sent a text. She asked Cane to meet her at the Chancellor Park Cafe because there was something she needed to talk to him about.

Before the party at Society officially ended, Chelsea and Audra hashed things out a bit. Audra did not like hearing people praise Chelsea for the party and Chelsea knew it. She finally took Audra aside and assured her that she was not trying to take her place in Sally's life.

"Do you think we can just knock it off with the snark, at least until the wedding? For Sally's sake. And mine," Chelsea said. "I really think under all the bravado, you're actually a decent person and a great friend."

Audra admitted that she was just overprotective of Sally after all she had been through.

Emotions Run High

Kyle and Victoria met up at their little apartment, where they promptly ripped each other's clothing off and hit the sheets. After they made love, Victoria told Kyle about the "dancer" who Esther had brought to the party. She said that the only man she had wanted was Kyle.

After the night's festivities, Lily and Cane finally met up at the cafe. "I just want to focus on you and me," she said. Lily kissed him, but he could tell something else was going and demanded that she tell him what it was.

When Traci went home, she told Jack about the night. Jack could tell there was something else bothering Traci.

"You're going to think that I'm so selfish, but I'm really genuinely happy and excited for Billy and Sally, but all this talk of babies and futures brought up things I haven't thought of in a while. And Coco, Sally's sister, was there, and she reminds me so much of my sweet angel, Colleen. Jack, I miss her so much I would do anything to have her back. Anything."

Traci broke down in Jack's arms as she thought of Colleen and sobbed.

Are you looking forward to the wedding? Should Lily just tell Cane the truth already? Sound off in the comments.
