Bye, Mr. Kitty

Billy and Kyle were glad to see that Jack was home, as he filled them in on the latest with Patty. Diane thought that Billy needed to remain on high alert. What if Patty had something planned for the big wedding? Billy began to worry about the same, but Jack tried to calm everyone down. Diane refused to calm down. Even the cops couldn't contain this nutty woman.

Kyle tried to be the rational one, unlike his mother. He just wanted to ignore Patty and get ready for the wedding. That meant throwing Uncle Billy a bachelor party. Diane thought that was a great idea. When she and Kyle were alone, Kyle noticed Mr. Kitty in the box on the table.

Diane explained that it was a gift from Patty, which Kyle found to be quite odd. Diane decided that they should just get rid of it and tossed the stuffed cat right in the trash.

Bonding Time

At the GCAC, Chelsea was alarmed when she saw Sally sitting on a couch crying and assumed something had to be wrong with the baby. Sally assured her that she wasn't in any pain, so Chelsea thought that Sally must be having a panic attack. But that wasn't it either. Sally just couldn't stop crying.

Well, at least Sally claimed she wasn't having a panic attack, but she was really in a complete panic over being a mother. How was she supposed to cope when the baby arrived? She had never taken care of a newborn before. Chelsea tried to be comforting and pointed out that Sally had a great support system of friends and a wonderful partner.

Sally was still hysterical and worried that she would get everything wrong as a mother. The baby would make sure of it. Sally thanked Chelsea for being so kind to her and calming her down. Just then, Audra appeared with some news. Chloe would have to miss the wedding because she was going on a cruise with her mother-in-law.

Audra was ready to plan the bachelorette party with Sally's sister, Coco Spectra. Audra could only give Chelsea a nasty look. Chelsea got the hint and walked away. Audra was shocked that Sally and Chelsea had been in such deep conversation. Sally didn't see why Audra had a problem with Chelsea when she didn't. In fact, Sally pointed out that they used to be friends.

Audra was clearly jealous and told Sally to call her when she had a problem and not some friend from her past. Audra walked away and was replaced by Billy. She told him about her meltdown and Chelsea's help. Billy was glad that Chelsea had been kind to Sally.

Billy told Sally about Patty claiming she had left town, but they couldn't be sure she was telling the truth. However, Billy didn't want to think about that. He was going to focus on his bachelor party instead. Billy was taken aback when Sally asked for his thoughts on asking Chelsea to be one of her bridesmaids. That certainly won't sit well with Audra. What is Sally thinking?

Cold as Ice

At Society, Devon moved to the other end of the bar when Cane sat down. Cane wanted Devon to stop acting like this and at least attempt to be civil. Cane tried to make some small talk and asked how Nate was doing. He also wanted more information about Devon's new college venture, so a cold Devon told him he could find whatever he wanted online.

Devon didn't like Lily being with Cane again and was sure that Cane would break her heart, as he always has in the past. Devon wanted Cane to just let Lily go if he cared about her, but Cane wasn't about to do that. He and Lily were happy again and he was determined to make it work.

When Cane stepped outside, he called Lily right away and told her that he missed her and she could always count on him.

Separate Ways

At Crimson Lights, Nick and Sharon wondered what would happen next when Matt and Phyllis came face-to-face. Phyllis asked to speak to Matt privately, but Sharon had questions and wondered what was going on. Phyllis said that she only wanted closure.

Matt said he only wanted to move on and really did plan to leave town this time. After all these years and all the trouble he has caused, Matt even wished Nick and Sharon luck and hoped they would reunite one day. When Matt and Phyllis walked outside, Nick was furious. He didn't like knowing Matt was anywhere, even if it was not Genoa City. Sharon just hoped that he would never return.

Nick also felt that Phyllis was nuts and wondered what had gotten into her. Sharon was disturbed that Phyllis felt such an odd connection with Matt.

At the Chancellor Park Cafe, Phyllis begged Matt to stay, which Sharon fully expected her to do. Matt felt he was too much like Patty and would harm people if he stayed. Phyllis was sure that Patty would kill Matt, or at least that she was capable of it. She once again begged Matt not to go. She believed in Matt and was ready to support him.

Matt still wouldn't give in, so an angry Phyllis stormed off in a huff, leaving Matt to cry alone at his table. As for Phyllis, she ran to the Shadow Room. She didn't want a lecture. She just wanted a good drink.

Are you starting to feel sorry for Matt? Is Sally being too emotional? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
